For years, I have always wondered how the famous
Los Angeles Fashion District looks like and why so many people love going there
despite the humongous crowd flocking at every little stall you pass by.
Last Monday, having no classes because of a holiday, I decided to finally go
and see the place myself, taking a risk of possible injury both physical and financial.
IT WAS A BIT OF A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
- the place was packed and it felt like we were sardines in a can.
- baby strollers made it even harder to walk around.
- hundreds of stalls, but are selling almost the same exact thing.
- the "no tax" when purchasing is NOT true!!!
- was glad to find an electric blue pair of pants, so I quickly bought it..YAY!!!... BUT....
- I went to my favorite boutique just a few minutes away from home and found the same exact pair of pants but $6 less.. =[
I have learned my lesson and I will never go back and buy clothing there..
